Children's Tookit

The House Of Ruth Maryland, with funding from the Open Society Institute, has developed a Children's Program ToolKit. The ToolKit offers a detailed presentation of the House Of Ruth Maryland's Children's Program, including the Child Developmental Program and Therapeutic Services. Content includes: program philosophy and objectives; job descriptions for staff and volunteers; policies and procedures; forms, including forms for collecting consumer feedback to assess program effectiveness; and a plan for quality assurance.

We are distributing the ToolKit to other service providers who would like to start a children's program or enhance an existing program. We hope that by sharing our experiences in creating a comprehensive children's program others will be able to use this ToolKit to guide their thinking about their own program.
