Community Education and Training

House of Ruth Maryland’s Training Institute provides community education, training, consultation and technical assistance to professionals and the community at large on intimate partner violence (IPV) and issues related to IPV. Trainings are highly interactive, tailored to fit the needs of the participants and are conducted by IPV experts and advocates currently working in the field.

In order to support this work, we ask that any group or organization requesting a training session consider their ability to provide an honorarium towards our training program. We recognize that this can be a challenge for some organizations, but achievable for others. In all situations, we will do our best to come up with a collaborative way to reach your training needs.
