House of Ruth Maryland is encouraging leaders in the community to join us to generate awareness about intimate partner violence (IPV) and support for the victims of IPV.
House of Ruth Maryland’s Person of the Year candidates can self-select or be nominated and can win the honor by raising the most money! In addition to the fundraising challenge, each candidate will also commit to wearing a symbol of their support in the fight against intimate partner violence each day during October, for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Accept the challenge to be a House of Ruth Maryland, Person of the Year candidate, and show that you stand against intimate partner violence while helping to confront attitudes, behaviors and systems that perpetuate it. Be a leader in taking a role in ending violence against women and their children by speaking out and standing tall.
The 2017 House of Ruth Maryland Person of the Year will be recognized throughout the year at House of Ruth Maryland events, as well as receive a number of special experiences and tokens of recognition.
